Our journey commenced in 2011 with the successful design and execution of our inaugural project
in Erumely, Kottayam. From a humble freelance initiative, the practice steadily garnered
recognition for its technical rigor, inventive design approach, and unwavering dedication to
quality.
In 2023, we formalized our presence with the establishment of our first official office in
Vadavathoor, Kottayam, under the name Somcyn + Anu Architects. To amplify our global identity
and strategic presence, the firm was rebranded in 2024 as De Metierz Architectural and
Engineering Consultancy, a name that embodies sophistication, ambition, and international reach.
The key faces of De Metierz are Architect Somcyn John and Anu Aby Susan, visionaries fuse architectural ingenuity with engineering expertise, delivering projects that are aesthetically distinguished, functionally exceptional, and commercially impactful.
